2015: Week Seven

Sunday Feb 8: OmigodIamdying yard work workout. I was stupid today. Started NROL4W stage 7 (known as an “endurance phase” and I am just trying to endure ie live through it.) I went to the gym at 6 a.m. because (a) I knew it was going to be a busy day; (b) I knew it was going to be a busy week and wanted to get strength training 1/3 in the books on Sunday; and (c) I needed the squat rack which is always, always, ALWAYS occupied by dudebros hanging out doing some complicated 45+ minute routine. So I started Sunday with my 6 a.m. endurance strength training workout, then did recycling at Sunday school (in the hot sun), THEN we finished up the yard work workout by digging out, hauling, lugging, toting, and finally, blessedly, planting, our David Austin bare root roses. Whew. I think I was whimpering a little bit as I mustered energy to shower and crawl onto the couch at 7:45 p.m.

Monday, Feb 9: Tired. So tired. Rest day.

Tuesday, Feb 10: Supposed to be “challenging” yoga class but see Sunday for why today was a rest day instead.

Wednesday, Feb 11: tennis team practice

Thursday, Feb 12: rest day

Friday, Feb 13: ST #2 (NROL4W Stage 7 workout 2); tennis team workout

Saturday: Feb 14: rest day
